FDR-AX53 is taking a still photo every time I start recording in movie mode

I don't see anything in the user guide about this and am stumped.  With the settings I am currently using (XAVC S 4K, 100Mbps, 25p) I shouldn't, according to Sony, be able to capture a photo at all when in Movie mode.  Yet every time I record a video, a corresponding (low res) photo is taken, and I am definitely not touching the photo button, let alone pressing it.  The image captured isn't reflective of the settings I have for Photo mode, either.  Did I miss something in the operation manual, or is this a gremlin?  I have done a complete factory reset and the issue persists.  It did not happen in the first two sets of videos I took with the camera when new (early last week).  I have attached a screenshot of the relevant folder on my PC that shows the video files together with the image file for each, if that helps.Screenshot (16).png

Have you tried adjusting the movie quality settings?

Hello @mamambwa,

that is normal and the image is the "thumbnail" for the video file. You can just sort by file type and delete them all if you don't need them or you can import the videos via PlayMemories Home in which case these image files are not transferred with the video file.

@IamNic I didn't know the thumbnail was saved separately, thanks for that!
