Sound issues through optical

Hi,

I have a KD-65XF9005 and have some issues with the optical out to sonos playbar.

 

What works:

DD 2.0 / DD5.1 from HDMI sources (Sky Q and BluRay player)

DD5.1 from TV apps (Amazon and Netflix)

 

What doesn't work:

Anything that is not DD 5.1 from TV apps (Amazon / Netflix)

 

Basically the only issus is when trying to watch something from Amazon / Netflix which does not have a DD 5.1 audio track. I have tried different audio settings (Auto 1 / Auto 2 / PCM) but non of these make a difference.

This is strange bahaviour, most people seem to have a problem trying to pass DD 5.1 but I have the problem where I cannot pass anything from the TV apps which is not DD 5.1.

 

I have compled a system update but no solution.

 

Has anyone experienced the same issue or know of a solution to this problem?
