Hello everyone,
we have bought a new TV for my parents, did initial setup, installed all the system updates that popped up and they started using the TV, it has been over 3 months since they have it. They are having trouble with the TV randomly shutting itself OFF sometimes it takes 30 minutes sometimes over 2 hours untill that happens - showing those 4 animated balls on screen - followed by android logo, and then the TV turns off.
Any idea what can cause it - solve it?
Or does that seem to be faulty device?
Thanks for any help.
Hi Zower,
I'd recommend unplugging the TV from the mains for a few minutes to power cycle the TV and if the issue remains you can try to disconnect the external devices that may be connected to the TV and check if the issue still happens.
It's always recommended to make sure the TV is up to date and to clear the cache by going to Settings - Storage and reset - Internal storage - Clear Data and Cache.
Hope this helps

Hey, thanks for reply,
since the problem doesent appear periodically and is hard to guess when it is going to happen, we are testing your suggested solution and will comment back as soon as it is clear if it helped or not.
We tried factory reset. Updated all the updated available.
Also, as you mentioned if that does not work we should try unplug everything that the tv is connected to, but there is nothing, TV is just plugged to the wall and thats it. No stereo, no DVD/BD players, consoles, nothing.
Thanks again for your comment and as i said i will get back as soon as it is clear if the issue is solved.
