Hi, Could I ask the Sony community a question before I contact the live help?
My Bravia XR - 55A9xl has suddenly stopped outputting any system or tv sounds.
I have removed all HDMI's and tried the playing Netflix from the home screen to rule out any external devices but no luck.
I've also tried a reststart and full power off.
Fortunatley I have it connected to a Sony TA- AN1000 so I can use this for sound for now, but I still need a fix for the TV speakers.
Any suggestions would be most welcome.
Hi @pauluscfc
Have you checked the headphones socket which cuts out the TV speakers. Perhaps plug in some headphones to see if audio is available.
Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately this TV doesn't have a headphone socket.
Bluetooth only.
Kind regards,
Paul.
Hi @pauluscfc, did you make sure to adjust the settings of the TV to output the sound from the TV speakers? Did you try to disconnect the sound bar from the TV and test again? Try to unplug the TV for 30 seconds from the mains then plug it back it and check if the issue remains.
what is the full model number of your TV? You can use this link to help you locate the model number: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/articles/00248604
