Xperia 1 not connecting to car for media

My new Xperia 1 connects to my 2015 Mercedes Benz C class via Bluetooth for calls and works perfectly. However, the car will not recognise the phone for media. I've even tried connecting a USB cable and it still will not play music or even acknowledge the phone is connected for media.

I've tried the settings on the phone and it is set up for media sharing etc.

Never had this issue with any other phone connecting to the car.

Any ideas??

Hi, I had this issue with my BMW. Found a thread that sorted it. Basically need to lower the Bluetooth version used in developer settings and it is now fine.
