Sony Android TV KD55X8508C stuck in a boot loop

Hi,

I bought this tv in 2016, but suddenly the picture goes off while my son was playing PS4 on it. The playstation was disconnected couple of days back and the TV was not used in between. Today when it was connected, it started well but stopped suddenly. I tried taling the power cable off, soft reset, hard factory reset but it'd not helping.

If I keep the power cable conneted, the power light on the TV glows, after sometime marshmallow screen appears for 2 seconds and then goes off again.

Can anyone help?

Thanks @pa3eia, but I could not log into the british sight.

In the meantime, I raised the repair order to Sony describing the issue.

Service center has reverted back that the main board needs to be changed and provided a quotation of 500 Euro.

I checked mediamarkt online and found that I can buy a new sony 55 inch TV for 500 Euro.

However, there is also a second choice "PO niet akkoord, klant wenst het product retour
Apparaat ongerepareerd retour te ontvangen"

Shall I really buy Sony now ?
