Help (Need drivers !)

Hi all,

I have a Vaio notebook PCG K 315 Z
and a few weeks ago my hard disk crushed.

so i bought a new one and realized that i didn't
burn the cd recovery tool. No matter, caus I have
a Win XP cd and key, but now i'd like to get
real Sony drivers for my notebook, but it
asks me the serial number...which has faded long time ago...

Hi Zik,

Welcome to Club Vaio,

I think the PCG K 315 Z came complete with a set of Sony recovery discs, however you can download the Preinstalled Drivers and Utilities from here

If you need the laptop serial number it is shown in the Bios screen

Can i download or buy the Dvd Recovery kit somewhere ?

Install The Sony Shared Library first, then the laptop will be recognised as a Vaio.

"Download the Sony Shared Library, which is listed as one of the original shipping drivers on Sony’s Online Support Web site. The Sony Shared Library is required to install VAIO applications."

but i can find where...

I visit all Vaio Link, Vaio Shop and Vaio Club sites
and did not found...

Download both the Preinstalled Diver & Utilities packages from

VAIO-LINK

Driver & Updates - Select your model, and then look at bottom of the resulting page.

It will be in one of them!

I installed all drivers and all utilities and
i have the same problem..

No hotkeys, no wifi, etc...

I can't find precisly where i can
purchase recovery Dvd kits...

Can you show me where ?

Hi Zik,

There is not an exact link, you need to contact Vaio-Link either by electronically or via the phone to order a set of recovery discs..

What country do you live in?
