    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi guys, got an fs315m running 512mb pc3200 333 RAM.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Jus bought and installed another 512 pc3200 400.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The ram seems to work ok, but is it working at 333? and would i benefit much more from having 2 x 512mb pc3200 400?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks all!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi kingbal and welcome to Club Vaio.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Yes, you are right - if you mix the speed of your memory modules, they will only operate at the speed of the lowest spec module.  In your case 333 MT/s.  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Actually you should check what you have because DDR333 are usually PC2700 bandwidth modules. PC3200 is normally DDR400.  You may find that you actually do have 2 x DDR2-400.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There would (in theory) be a 20% speed increase by using two DDR2-400, but I doubt this would be obviously noticeable in normal use.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Your system will support up to 2048MB of PC5300 DDR2-667 which would give a theoretical speed increase of 100% - at a price!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;img class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sony.nl/html/@0248C33DDCF34AA61B8F8F33F5AFA5BE/images/smilies/013.png" alt=":wink:" title=":wink:" /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
