      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Welcome to the forum&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I would scan for viruses and Spyware but It could be that the CMOS battery is playing up..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have you had a look to see if there are any patches or updates for your machine at &lt;A href="http://www.vaio-link.com/index/index.asp?l=en" target="_blank"&gt;Vaio-Link&lt;/A&gt; ? There may be a fix for that particular problem.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Samim and welcome to the forum.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You haven’t stated the model or age of your Vaio notebook -is it still in warranty? &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;These symptoms can be indicative of a failing CMOS battery (as pointed out by Twisted-Rizla). Unfortunately the only way, that I am aware of, to verify this is to physically remove the battery and either have it checked out or simply replace it.   &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you let us know your model number possibly someone will be able to provide disassembly instructions – assuming that it is not longer covered by the Sony warranty that is.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
