Differences between SZ1XP and SZ2XP

Does anyone have any information what the differences between the SZ1XP and SZ2XP are, apart from the latter having a 2.0GHz CPU as opposed to the 1.83GHz version? Does the faster (and more modern?) CPU actually make the machine run QUIETER or LOUDER?

Looking at the specs there does not appear to be a great difference betwen the two models..

Hi,

I haven't looked at Thalamus's links yet, I will in a moment. I just wanted to say that my SZ2XP is very quiet. The only sound of any significance is the odd hard drive clicking sound that some people seem to find annoying but doesn't bother me.

Presently I own a SZ1XP. The only occasion when it's reasonably quiet is when I set the CPU and fan in the power option to its lowest settings, meaning that the CPU never runs faster than 1MHz. Any faster than that and the fan will run noticably louder. In particularly so when using the 7400 Go to play games.
I would be very envious is your SZ2 stays quiet even under stress conditions!
