Please Help Me!

hello

Yesurday my Vaio Notebook packed in. The Screen was incredibly dark, so i shut it down. Now it won't even turn on!!!!

if anyone can help me then please please do!!!

Welcome to the club,
If you can get it to a monitor plug it in and do a system restore and run an anti virus. If it is a bad sector issue then get to the prompt or run in the start menu and type in CHKDSK. Also try booting off the battery. Hope it's not stuffed. Good luck.

Thanks for the help, but the thing is completely dead.

There a light on the charger which would suggest it's not a power problem, but I can't hear any noise coming from it all.

Any other ideas?

Resit the memory if you're able to do this yourself. You'll find the instructions in the manual (oh damn just realised it's probably a PDF, nuts!)

Which VAIO is it BTW?
