Generals Zero Hour

Hay I have just bought A new Sony Vaio AR21s and i was extremly dissapionted when i found out Command and Conquor: Genrals Zero Hour doesn't work on it. I have game seperatly and in the first decade colection niether work. What is more annoying is the fact generals works command and conquer 3 works battlefield 2142 works. Can any one help me out here it seems to think my direct x isn't good enough but it is and the graphics card isn't which it is. I wa shoping this might be a common problem with a easy fix

You mentioning that has just brought back a flush of Rage :smileydevil:, You will find it will be the Intel Chipset as it does not support hyper lighting & shading effects that one little thing stops most games that you can purchase unfortunatly.

IS this not the type of thing they should tell you before you splash out £2000 on a new laptop just find out i can only play minesweepers?? Sony is quite F*** Up

By the way on the system requirement thing it say i have passed it all

On the link i was given it says my chip set passed and battlefield 2142 using dynamic shading and light and that works??

Usally when i have a graphical problem i just download upto date drivers, when i went on nvidia it says the chipset i have in isn't supported on media centre and if i try the XP ones it simply says there is not hardware that fits. Is there somewhere where these mystical drivers can be found or am i doomed to play russian roulete when buying games?

The Omega drivers might help you, but Sony do not support them, so it's your choice.
