loading microsoft office?

Hi,
i am totally new to notebooks having been brought this one as a gift (lucky me!)

however, the one thing i have noticed,is it doesnt have a DVD/CD drive?!

My son has microsoft office on his laptop and i want to load it on mine, as i believe you can have it on 3 machines.

the question is though, how do i??

if anyone can help i'd appreciate it.

Hi, first at all, I have no ideas about these things. But when you have windows 7 standard, than its not possible to use office 2000 etc., only 2003, 20007 or 2010. If you have windows 2007 prof., as long as I know, there is a way to use also the older office software. But you find some answer of the internetsite of microsoft. and.............. you can use a usb stick as well, dont need a dvd.....to import office...
