      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm not sure how you get it to happen everytime although i guess you wouldnt want it to startup times are long as it is :smileygrin: &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Go into my computer, right click on the drive you want scanned and click on the tools tab at the top. Select error checking and then click start....unless you are lucky enough to have it work in windows it will say the check failed, would you like to have it scanned on next startup. just select yes.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;WARNING: I don't know how widespread this is on Vaio models, however my K115s is victim to a windows bug without a fix, whereby the check on startup cannot access the hard drive due to being denied permission.......hence it checks and fails on next startup ad nauseum.........increasing my startup time :smileygrin: and I can't stop it :smileygrin: God bless you Microsoft.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;cheers mate but i have tried it this way and two of my drives work (check) and my system asks me if i want to do it at start up and so i press yes and for some strange reason it doesnt even check that disk it checks one of my other drives ??????????&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i needed to know if there was a different way to the way you stated &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks anyway &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards ben&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
