Hello i have a sony a1 for the last year.. The last weeks i have a strange problem..

My camera will not boot ant it gets in a boot loupe...

I manage to start my camera by removing the battery and reinserting it..

I also found that this happens only in movie mode, when i swith to M mode the camera boots ok and works properly

Firstly, make sure your camera is running on the latest software version: 1.30 to avoid any software bugs. You can also try resetting the camera: https://helpguide.sony.net/ilc/2040/v1/en/contents/TP1000384602.html and test its performance again.

My camera has the latest firmware 1.30

To be honest i didn't try to reset the camera, i will give it a try...

It seems like a software problem or maybe the lens attached (the new sony 24-70 gm2) ?

Well, I reset- initialize the camera..

But unfortunately the camera does the same thing…

In movie mode the camera sometimes doesn’t boot. When I switch to M mode the camera start up without reinserting the battery..

This is a very strange situation
