WH-CH700N Bluetooth Headphones Interference

My Sony WH-CH700N headphones are great. When my wife goes to bed early I need to use headphones to avoid waking her. Often I start watching a movie half way through and agree to download the whole film and start from the beginning. I get crackling interference on the film and also on any other programme I try to watch while the download continues. This does not occur when I am listening via the TV speakers or my sound system.

Any solution would be welcome.

Welcome to the Sony Community.

You say you get this sound whilst continuing the download. Distorted sound can occur near Wi-Fi devices and could be the issue.

I have solved the problem by simply connecting my Sky Q box to the router with an Ethernet RJ45 cable instead of indirectly by Wi-Fi. There is now no interference. Hurrak!
