Hi, Does anyone know if there is a feature on the WH100-XM2 Noise Cancelling headphones to mute the microphone when one is on a mobile call on the headphones.

Hi @mfurms and welcome to the Community

I can't see any references to that in the manual,

it does state though that the mic helps reduce noise when in noise cancelling mode,

so maybe there is no option.

Hopefully another member may post if they know.

You can't mute from the heatphone, you can only do it from the smartphone

I've recently bought the Sony WH-1000XM3 and was expecting there to be a quick mute function on the headphones rather than having to go to use the mute on the laptop or phone application. I'm very disappointed that there isn't!

I have a cheap headset on my office PC that has a physical button on the headset which I regularly use and is very convenient when in conference call and there is noise in the background that otherwise gets picked up by the mic.

Surely this is a function Sony can add into this headset!
