I tried to update my Sony Z1 but when i tried to download the update using my phone it shows 'could not verify'....can someone plzz help me with this

Hi @Adios_Fellas

Please connect your device to a computer and from PC Companion go to -> support zone -> follow the steps to update your phone -> you will be notified if there's an update available. Only for your information, keep in mind that the update will first need to be authorised by your network or country before Sony is authorised to release it to your device. Also operator locked phones takes much longer that other phones to receive their updates because they have to be extensively verified by the carrier before release. I´m at disposal for any question.

If you have unlocked the bootloader, you won't be able to use OTA updates, Bridge for Mac, nor PCC, you will have to relock the bootloader with flashtool

Also if you have unlocked the bootloader you can flash stock firmwares of any customization on Xperias with unlocked bootloader using EMMA Sony Flash tool. Check this link for more information:

EMMA won't relock the bootloader, flashtool will, BUT the DRM keys are gone forever
