Who is the useless who chose the color black for Spain. In Spain they are not selling Xperia 1 why some idiot from Sony sends only the black color it is impossible to get another color in Vodafone, Yoigo, Orange retails etc. The people are tired of Wait for other colors

Only have black And silver, but in Amazon there are many returned from youtuber that buy it and return it after the rewiew.

We are July 15 and in Vodafone and Yoigo it is impossible to buy it there is no stock

Returning mobile phones is against Amazon policy as far as I know. I've been told so because I got my phone on Amazon DE and there is no return possible, only exchange for the same unit if defected.

Regarding the returned devices I already bought Xperias from Amazon and they all came always sealed. They only sell sealed devices (the new ones). the returned ones are selled as used.

Network operators normally always sell only one colour because of the agreaments they make.

TBH i wanted the white but went for the black.... I won't be getting any sony with " aluminium frame " as it peels off with time.... Happened to all my Xperia devices. Last one was the XZP.

Speaking of Amazon, can you guys tell me if my phone has warranty ? I mean just in case I need to repair it, how to do it ? Is there a registration online whatsoever...?

When I bought my old Z5 at Amazon for the first time I clarified the garantie issues with them as they don't supply an invoice with the IMEI number on it and that is one of the demands on Sony's official warranty.

On the first 30 days after purchase amazon will exchange your device free of charge if anything goes wrong, after that and till the end of the legal warranty time in your country you should go to Sony official Service with Amazon invoice, if for any reason they don't accept the Amazon invoice they told me they will honor the warranty for the legal time and give a new device or the money back if the device is not for sale any more.

@IA64, as warranty and consumer laws vary depending on which market you are located in, I think that this question is best answered by your local support team as well.

THe Sony Moderators volunteers here know much more than local Sony first line techinical support EVER will.

I will note regail you again with the scripted answer they sent me, that had nothing to do with the question posed, save to say it was dissapointing in the very least.

However everything in balance.

I have been an unashamed Sony fan since the 80's (before most peoples time here) and when its marketing phrase was 'It's a Sony' back in the midst of time when they ONLY produced fantastic audio equipment!

Phones

Now having said that, I purchased the Z5P XZP, the xz3 and now the X1 and i loved them all, however initially the X1 really let me down with bugs that should have been checked in ALPHA (pardon the pun) testing, however the latest patch has goen somewhat to address my anger on these issues.

However the moderators and members have been patient when addressing my dissapointment, and as such the phone through this latest patch is VERY MUCH WONDERFUL. The only thibng that lets it down (compared with others who said its still not fixed with this patch) is the 1080P HDR AND 4K non and 4KHDR stability.

Shows the Sony I love from old is at least addressing SOME issues, I just wish they would hire decent front line support in their centre's and not script-filled numpties who are so under qualified that they make even PC WORLD employees knowledgeable.
