if Cinema Pro "final render" don't render with the LUT applied, shouldn't sony provide us the LUT?

so I did shoot with the cinema pro, while there's certainly some pretty serious flaw and bad UX, but at least I can do what I intended to do.

when i share the output video to another app, the LUT color is lost. Then I remember seeing that "final render" inside the cinema pro app, but that's just false hope as it did basically nothing other than merge video together.

anyway, if I have to use a desktop to color correct, shouldn't Sony provide the LUT file so we can just apply it and get what we are seeing on phone somehow?

So, do all your devices support HDR?

I had the same question the first time I exported my Xperia 1 footage to my iPad and MacBook Pro for editing. The footage looked lighter and certain details were lost such as the different shades in clouds. I thought it was something to do with the Cinema Pro Looks being lost but I suspect, as you suggest, it's down to my other devices not being HDR compatible. That's a bit of a shame as the footage looks so good on the Xperia 1 but it's very unlikely any video I share will be viewed by other people on a HDR screen.

Any video, whether clip or final exported off my device, has kept the look.

I can tell you that iPad pro identifies the video as HDR and on loading does show all the colours as expected.

Similarly, playing the files on my pc will look super white and outrageous contrast, because my monitor is not HDR.

Now many apps on Google play will play HDR files, but many also do not play them In the full colour space.

But each one has indeed kept the LUT/LOOK on export.

You can test this easily by selecting monochrome in the looks. As X1 doesn't have a monochrome sensor, all the monochrome information is purely look based.
