      <title>Snow in the charging port</title>

      <description>So today I droped my Sony Xperia X Performance in the snow. The went right to the charging port. So I wanted to ask is this is a problem ,because phone is waterproof.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/933814"&gt;@RedArsen&lt;/A&gt;, welcome to our forums!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm sorry to hear about what has happened to your phone. &lt;IMG class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sony.nl/html/images/smilies/035.png" alt="Slightly_frowning_Face" title="Slightly_frowning_Face" /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Make sure that the USB port is completely dry before you insert a the micro USB cable to charge your phone or if you are going to transfer data to your computer.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;shake your device several times with the USB port facing downwards and then use a micro-fibre cloth to wipe your device dry.       <description>I dried it out, it looks ok, tried to charged and everything seems went well. I am not afraid a lot because it is the waterproof phone so the charging port should be waterproof.</description>
