Until recently (possibly the Oreo update?), when selecting an image to set as wallpaper, I could choose to crop it in any resolution, and the wallpaper would scroll accordingly - if I cropped the image to my screen size, I'd have a static wallpaper that doesn't change when I scroll between my home pages, when I cropped it wider, it would scroll while moving between pages, with a more pronounced wallpaper scroll the wider the image was. Now the phone doesn't let me crop my wallpaper images as I want, forcing me to zoom it in and crop it into a cca square shape, which also results in very pronounced wallpaper scrolling (extremely so when using only two home pages!). How can I go back to the previous setting and have a static, or mostly static wallpaper?
