Avast causes slowness

HI... I am rajkumar from India. I am using the phone since 6 months. I had problem with slowness but when i removed the Avast antivirus the slowness and restart problem was sloved.

Most of the time,antivirus or task killers can cause problems.Good to know it is fine now.

Indeed, I don't recomend antivirus for that and other issues, such as, connectivity issues, apps crashing, etc.

the same for me, firefox was so slow and froze after a few minutes

after frozing avast with titanium backup, navigation is possible again

did you tried another antivirus???

I haven't seen any other antivirus that doesn't create some of this issues

But is it really okay to not have a security app in your phone. What if we catch a malware while surfing or installing an app. It will go undetected.
