Firmware update problem

Television Model KDL-32WD756 after downloading updated firmware onto USB stick TV says in cant find any recogniseable files to install. Tried numerous times to no avail. Help please.

is it a compressed file that needs unpacking/extracted before being copied to the USB stick?

Are you using the latest software version and did you double check that you do need it?

The "no applicable software version" message also comes up when you're already up to date.

I had the same issue, solved by formatting the USB stick to FAT32 one, did you give it a try?
