Is there any chance that the Android TV 8 update for KD-49X8309C will be available? My TV is only 6 years old and a major streaming app indicates that this update is needed to support the app…

Hi Chris, what is your current software version? The latest software should be v5.457 and you can install it from here.

I have the latest version, but it isn’t Android 8… that’s the reason the app isn’t working anymore…

Did you check the Android version on your TV? head to settings-about and share with us the version.
