Solid green/blue LED on Sony KD-43XD8099

Hi,

I'm trying to repair a Sony KD-43XD8099. The TV was completely dead but for the LED lit up in solid green. There's no sound or picture, unresponsive to TV buttons or remote.

I have since purchased a mainboard for it hoping it would resolve the issue but all that has changed is the LED is now solid blue, but still no signs of life otherwise.

Does anyone have any experience of this kind of fault, I can find absolutely no info online about a solid green or solid blue LED and what they could mean, only about flashing red or other colours. Thanks.

I don't think I've ever heard of a blue LED before. This all I could find about blinking lights, green largely means replug, if it doesn't work, probably needs repairing.

At this point, I'd say reach out to the Sony support reps.
