My tv has started, for no apparent reason, to all of a sudden show up along the foot of the screen the microphone symbol and asking me to speak into the mic!! I am in prolonged discussions with Sony Support who seem loathed to send out an engineer who may know how to sort the problem out. I have been asked by Sony for details of fault, what software version and firmware functions are on the TV along with IP address etc. etc. I have even done as they suggested and restored the TV to factory settings. Has anyone out there who may be able to assist? Regards Atso

Hello @provostkaypark,

have you checked whether the Microphone-button on your remote is "stuck"?

You can easily verify that by taking the batteries out and turining the TV on via the button on the device itself.
