How do I disable the the subtitle switch. It defaults to ON

Have you had a look at the Subtitle options under Device Preferences-> Accessibility?

Yes ! Mode = Off. However on selecting Sky News Channel it defaults to On and has to be turn off every time !

Problem solved. Factory reset. Comment: I'm not pleased at having to do this.
