I recently attached a mouse to my Vaio which seemed to disable the buttons on my touch pad, it moves the pointer but the inbuilt press to active buttons has been disabled. I have tried the following:
Resetting the factory settings for the touch pad in Vaio Control Centre - no effect
Reinstalling the touch pad driver in both the windows device manager and Vaio Control Centre but it always informs me that the latest driver has been installed and there are no further options to reinstall anyway.
Can anyone help please. This happened on my last Vaio but I got it fixed by a specialist and I forgot to ask how he did it.
