Screen has stripes on it and system freezes

Just got my Vaio Notebook back from service, they did not solve the problem. So I payed for experiencing the same problem I had before the repairs!!! The screen gets fast moving stripes on the left and right side and the systems freezes right away. It took sony 2 months not to solve the problem, can somebody help? I am a professional user, so please help asap.

Call VAIO-Link and tell them this is unacceptable.

Sounds like your CPU is overheating. Depending on the machine it is quite easy to check if the CPU-fan is working properly.

Which machine do you have?
