recovery discs

i am going to make my recovery discs i have a FS415B. I have bought some DVD+R wtll theses be ok. in the specs (optical drive, these are listed. oknow this might sound a stupid question but i dont want to mess up
ive already had norton keep telling me i have a trojan in a pop up but it cant remove it, yet when i run computer scan it does not show up

DVD+R should be fine, if the creation of recovery discs fails you can always try again, it is not a once only process.
