I have been experiencing problem with the internal wifi card on the above net book.
The wifi connects to my network ok but randomly the connection drops out. the wifi icon shows a orange star symbol and no signal strength. when i click on the icon it does not display any networks that are normally available. I have tried disabling the power management features but no luck. sometimes it will come back on if i wait a few minutes.
I did try removing the card and using a USB WiFi dongle which worked correctly. But having put the internal card back in the wifi losses have started again. Is it worth me getting another internal wifi card? or could it be a driver issue. I have all the latest drivers installed?
I am running Windows 7 starter edition with McAfee Internet Security (I did disable Mcafee to see if that helped but no luck)
