Is it possible to connect my widescreen tv to my laptop? and upgrade question

hey i would appreciate it if someone could answer my questions,

1, Is it possible somehow to connect my laptop to my tv so i could view my desktop from my tv?

2, Is it possible to upgrade the graphics cards on these laptops?

Don't know if this will help..as I have FR415B..does your model have a 3.5 mm a/v out socket ? if yes I purchased a lead for connecting sony camcorder to tv from Maplins UK as I couldn't find lead on Sony accessory site(cost about 5.00 GBP)
