HELP PLEASE!!!CANT RECOVER HARD DRIVE

Any one help me out. I get no operating system found when i turn on my vaio.i got a pcg-z1xpm windows xp professional.i tried to use the recovery disc.but its start up ok.and after 5 min recovery it comes up with a message DISK ACCESS:SENSE OPEREATION FAILED.Can anyone help me out..cheers

Sorry to have to tell you this but your hard disk is dying.
Best getting a 2.5" hard disk to replace it.
