Firmware 3.0

It´s here!
It´s new!
It´s fresh!
It´s SONY!

And i think SONY did it again!
The wait is over and it was worth!

Installation was easy and fast!
Booted up....:smileygrin:
Especially the time and date display after power-off is great!!!
Kudos SONY!

The included "skins" are some of them good and pleasant, others more girlie-loke....grrr.
HEY PEOPLE...go and design your own!
POST it!!!
Now we finally can customize ourself the PocketVaio-GREAT!!!

Scrolling is really faster, also the new display of songs is way better.
The songs now really play "gapless".....:smileywink:

The pictures also display now way faster than before, even in high-resolution the display time goes faster!!!

So finally (sure i´we not tested all improvements...) SONY did a good job with this firmware-update.
Hope SONY is continuing to improve it more from time to time and will give us finally the so much needed video-mode!!!

And finally not to forget the SonicStage v2.3!!! (update)

Now people, let´s here what u think and experience about V3.0!

excuse me for being stupid, but where do I get the firmware update from? I went to the download page and it just has an update for SoundStage on WinXP that was released 22.11.2004... 😞

I have added MP3 to Sonic Stage and transfered them without conversion !
Things of must known :
1. MP3 bitrate is correctly displayed for MP3 stored on your vaio
2. The conversion options of sonic stage (to atrac or atrac+) applies only to non mp3 and non atrac files. So mp3 are really transfered without conversion

Also I have noticed that there is a zoom feature on covers when you browse by covers

I enjoy also the track counter displayed with each artist on the artist list

Sony did a great job !

Yessssss.....SONY did for this time a really good JOB!!!

My only complain is:
-browsing pictures!!!

SONY: we need the ability to browse pictures stored on the PocketVaio by our own folder (with they´r own names and also deep trees)
Please act now and do that in the next firmware update!

The fact is that now we must rename the folders as userxxxx!
This is simply bullshit....ho knows in that manner what´s inside of each folder?!?!
