Connection to Sanyo 16:9 Beamer

Hiyas!

I'm desperate. :cry:

I'm trying to connect my Sanyo Z2-Beamer (1280x720) via VGA to my notebook (PCG-GRT916V), but I can't get it to work with the 16:9 resolution.

Any ideas?
