I am having software update issues. I have a KD-49XDE7002 and a message on the screen says:
A new software update is available for your TV, use your TV remote control to select "show details"
It has frozen the TV and remote. I am unable to access anything. We have tried restart, soft reset, unplugging etc. We have reset the remote, checked the buttons, changed the batteries and ensured the remote is sending a signal.
We have tried all troubleshooting in the manual & on Sony website.
I tried to download the update onto a USB to install it that way but it wouldn't download without an error message
Any ideas?
