Control Sky Stream with Sony remote XR83A90J

I’m trying to control Sky Stream puck with my Sony remote for my Sony TV XR83A90J.

Searching tv box manufacturers for Sky UK is successful.

Searching model number for Sky Stream gets nothing.  Searching for Sky Glass shows various Glass models (which, of course, are TVs) which I tried without success.

Can anyone help?

Hi @Rinogal   It took Sony several years to add Sky Q, assuming that they have now. I haven’t tried for a couple of years. However I suspect that Sky Glass is far to new and will probably be added by 2030.

Yes, but he has codes for Sky Glass, so they are here already. He want a code or codes for Sky Stream, whatever the puck that is.

Hi @royabrown2   @Rinogal

I am confused (easily done) but why would Sony provide the codes in their TV remote to control another TV? Going all Spock, it is illogical, surely the codes would only be for set top boxes and other devices connected to the Sony TV so you can control them as well. Why would you want to control another TV at the same time.

I don’t want to control another TV, I want to control a Sky Stream Puck (which looks a bit like an Apple TV puck).

I was just saying that Sony list the Sky Glass TVs under TV box models (I don’t know why).

Since the pucks used in conjunction with the Glass TVs are similar to the Sky Stream pucks, it seemed logical to try the Glass TVs that Sony list in the hope that the codes are the same - unsuccessfully.
