Connect the bluetooth headphone with tv

Hi

I hope you can help me with that problem.

I have sony tv " KDL-50W815B " and recently bought a headphone " WH-1000XM4 "

I tried to connect them together but i didn't sucsses.

I looking for a bluetooth sender maybe it can help me in that case and i found that one " WLA-NS7 " but i'm not sure if i can use it with my tv because it's for XR tv as i can read.

Should it work if i have it so i can hear the tv from the headphones i have?

Best regards Eyad.

Hi @eyad85

Looking at your Reference Guide you do appear to have an Optical output. However I cannot see any USB ports? It should work but you may have to supply an external USB power supply.

Just in case you are not aware this is only a community of customers. There is no input from Sony.

Generic Bluetooth transmitters are very common. I don’t know if Amazon is available but you can take advantage of buying and returning if they don’t work. I would go for a quality product, the cheap ones are useless. Sorry I cannot recommend any as I don’t need one. My WH-1000XM5 connects direct to my XR-55A95K.

Hi @eyad85

Looking at the specifications for your TV it doesn’t appear to have a Bluetooth radio! So the chances of connecting any Bluetooth device is zero. You should explore using an external Bluetooth transmitter connected to your existing audio outputs.

Edit: Sorry please ignore me, I didn’t read your question fully. The WLA-NS7 uses an Optical Digital input, so if your TV does not have a Optical output then it cannot work. Bluetooth transmitters for your available audio outputs are readily available, just not Sony.
