Uploading xavc video files to macbook pro M1 silicon

I got some help from here the other day to upload xavc files to the new mac. I was able to find them in private/m4root/clip. Just unsure how to retrieve them from there. I want to access them with Luma Fusion. I can also get them into imovie but can’t move them anywhere from there. Do i need some sort of file converter?
simple explanation needed 😉

Hi,

Well, that very much depends on the file formats that are supported by your software.

If it doesn't handle the XAVC format then I would recommend another software.

Converting the files is also possible but not ideal.

Cheers

Thanks Peter, its actually an app as the new mac supports ios apps. The files work in Luma fusion on the ipad. Maybe i’m going to have to succumb to Final Cut 😉
